
Senior Loss Prevention Representative
Job Description
The Commercial Lines Loss Prevention team is searching for a Senior Loss Prevention Representative. The goal of the Sr. Loss Prevention Representative is to assist our policyholders in the process of identifying, quantifying, eliminating, or reducing the risk of loss. This is a senior level position that will entail training and mentoring of staff.

Conduct on-site loss control surveys and underwriting evaluations to assess potential hazards for our policyholders and agency partners
Conduct accident investigations
Prepares loss control reports and sends recommendations to policyholders to help them improve potential risk factors
A knowledge of workplace safety
An understanding of nationally recognized standards and codes
Develop, enhance and present training programs in the area of loss prevention
Communicate loss prevention services available to policyholders and agency partners
Will be responsible for mentoring loss prevention representatives in the department
May act on behalf of the loss prevention supervisor in their absence
May train other loss prevention representatives on conducting site evaluations, training, or other loss control services
Required Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge, skills & abilities, experience, minimum & desired education, certification and/or license requirements.
6+ years of experience in loss control
GED Required
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team environment or independently
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
Excellent analytical and decision making skills
Experience with laptop computers as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Safety experience is required
Loss Control and Safety Experience in the Insurance Industry (Workers’ Comp, Commercial Auto, Property and/or General Liability)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
OHST (Occupational Health and Safety) Certification Preferred
ARM (Associate in Risk Management) preferred
ASC (Advanced Safety Certification)
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
Pay Range: $121,807-$141,453Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave.
