Overview:

The Senior Business Analyst (Marketing) will play a key role in supporting EHN Canada’s marketing and business development initiatives through data analysis, market intelligence, and strategic insights.  This role is focused on leveraging data, market insights, and business analysis to support strategic marketing initiatives, organizational growth, and informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially minded analytical professional capable of leading data-driven initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering actionable insights that support executive decision-making and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

1. Marketing Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Develop market segmentation insights to support targeted marketing campaigns and outreach strategies. 
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to evaluate industry trends, pricing models, service offerings, and regional market opportunities. 
  • Support digital marketing initiatives by analyzing campaign performance, lead generation metrics, and conversion trends. 
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend data-driven growth strategies. 

2. Business Reporting & Insights

  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel to monitor marketing KPIs, admissions trends, referral sources, and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and marketing stakeholders. 
  • Provide ongoing analysis to support strategic planning, service line growth, and business development initiatives. 

3. Strategic Planning & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions, Operations, and Executive teams to identify business opportunities and optimize decision-making. 
  • Support strategic initiatives through data gathering, requirements analysis, and performance tracking. 
  • Recommend process improvements and reporting enhancements that improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency. 

4. Data Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of marketing and admissions data. 
  • Support compliance with Canadian privacy and healthcare regulations, including PHIPA and PIPEDA. 
  • Maintain best practices for data management, reporting consistency, and governance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 
  • 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, marketing analytics, market research, strategic planning, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex data into actionable business and marketing strategies.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership with strategic insights, forecasting, and decision-making is considered an asset. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools. 
  • Experience working with demographic, geographic, and consumer data analysis. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and CRM/reporting systems is considered an asset. 
  • Experience conducting market research and competitor analysis. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare, private healthcare, or regulated industries is preferred. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Commercially minded with a strategic and growth-oriented perspective.
