Senior Manager - Models, Risk Analytics and Treasury
Job Description
Create your best future and join Westpac Group Audit as a Senior Manager Models, Risk Analytics and Treasury.
What’s the role?
As a Senior Manager in Group Audit, you’ll play a hands-on role in strengthening how Westpac manages financial and non-financial risk across Treasury, models and risk analytics. You’ll lead end to end audit reviews that cut through complexity and focus on what really matters, how well our frameworks, models, systems and controls are working, and where they can be improved.
You’ll partner closely with Treasury, Risk and other Group Audit specialists to deliver independent, high value assurance. This role is based in Sydney and is a full-time opportunity with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.
You’ll coach and develop team members, engage confidently with senior stakeholders, and help shape the future audit plan by staying close to regulatory change, emerging risks and strategic priorities.
What do I need?
- Strong experience in audit, risk, or consulting, ideally with exposure to Treasury, risk analytics, or modelling
- Understanding of capital, stress testing, interest rate risk, or liquidity risk frameworks
- Experience leading or supporting end‑to‑end audit delivery, including control testing, findings, and reporting
- Strong ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders, including presenting audit insights clearly
- Analytical and problem‑solving capability, with an inquisitive mindset and ability to identify root causes
- Experience in model risk, data analytics, or advanced analytics environments (desirable)
