SUMMARY
This is a unique, flexible role designed to support both front and back-of-house operations as we grow into a full-service restaurant. You’ll be a key player in keeping things running smoothly—from stocking and cleaning to taking care of guests who choose to dine in.
Essential Functions:
Take dine-in guest orders when needed and provide great service Assist with stocking beer, ice, rollups, server station items, etc. Bus and reset tables; maintain clean dining and patio areas Help clean and organize behind the Bar service station and Server station Possibly provide occasional break coverage for the bartender Complete various side work tasks and shift prep/closing duties Takes payment for food & beverages utilizing prescribed cash procedures Maintain Food & Beverage quality and service standards for location Assist guests with Food & Beverage selections; make recommendations Inform guests of current specials, promotions, and Events Responsible for ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under the age of 21 Recognizes and resolves guest complaints and concerns Maintains Food & Beverage quality and service standards for location Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations Performs special projects delegated by management
QUALIFICATIONS

- Comfortable with a variable tip structure and hybrid responsibilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years serving or has restaurant experience; excellent people and communication skills. Proven experience serving food and beverages and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new food and beverage programs and services. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
