Job Description

Serves as the regional point of contact for Credentialing Software System. Provides technical support to the Baptist Health System with administrative, functional, and technical responsibility. General duties include but are not limited to data entry of initial applications, maintaining databases, and reporting functions. Responsible for planning and oversight of processes related to the Credentialing Software application including training as needed. Performs credentialing duties for both initial application and reappointments as required. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: College Coursework
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Computer skills including knowledge in databases, Excel, Word and exposure to medical technology and hospital medical staff credentialing. 
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Credentialing database or similar credentialing database experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: N/A
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): N/A
