Primary Function

职责概述

The Assistant Medical Director is focus on policy and strategy implementation. Fostering and maintaining excellent educational activities with healthcare providers and research collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), other clinical investigators and key academic institutions in order to build outstanding product awareness.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop Medical Strategy Plan for assigned therapeutic area that is aligned with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversees the strategy implementation and operations for overseeing the direction, planning, execution, clinical research and the data collection activities. Contributes to implementation of clinical protocols and facilitates completion of final reports.
• Develop medical education program to share knowledge and educate internal and external stakeholders throughout assigned product lifecycle phase within China:
  • Product early-development phase: to create external expert interest.
  • Pre-launch phase: to build awareness and confirm product understanding.
  • Launch phase: to educate on clinical evidence and product use.
  • Post-launch phase: to provide continued medical education.
• KOL identification, development & management and establish scientific relationship with institutions in assigned therapeutic area.
• Optimize communication and interactions with key customers and accounts by working with Strategic managers, Account Management and Sales teams under medical scientific purpose in assigned therapeutic area.
• In assigned therapeutic area, engage expert clinicians and researchers, share emerging science, and identify trends in clinical practice. Bring insights to internal colleagues and contribute to educational activities, market strategies, etc.
• Support other key function, such as regulatory affairs, sales, and marketing
• Assist in the tactical implementation of regional and local educational initiatives in concert with corporate, regional and local business goals

Requirement(education, background,…etc)

要求

Education required                 

• 19+ education background, MD or PhD with strong science background.
• Medical experience in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and or Emergency Medicine, oncology, Infectious diseases or related field is preferred.

Experience required

• Minimum 3 years working experience.
• At least 1 year industry experience in biotech/diagnostic industry (professional medical education or clinical research), or equivalent experience in healthcare management.
