Mill Accountant

This is a hands-on role working closely with operational teams, giving you direct visibility into how financial insights drive manufacturing performance. What We Offer Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an expected range of $65,100 to 79,000 (CAD) per year. In addition to base pay, you’ll enjoy: Short-Term Incentive Bonus 3 weeks vacation to start RRSP matching Employee Share Purchase Program matching Employer-paid medical and dental coverage What You’ll Do Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and financial records Accruals Prepaids: Manage accruals, prepaids, pensions, and by-product accounting Reconciliations: Complete monthly balance sheet and lease reconciliations Reporting Support: Develop internal reports and presentation materials Regulatory Compliance: Submit government surveys and required external reporting What You Offer Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting or office environment Education: Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Business (asset) Industry Knowledge: Manufacturing or forest industry experience preferred Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications Core Strengths: Detail-oriented, organized, strong communicator, and team-oriented self-starter Who We Are At Interfor, our culture is built on integrity, respect, and collaboration.
