About the Role

As Chef de Cuisine, you will be accountable for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, culinary execution and team leadership while ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency and guest satisfaction. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will combine hands-on culinary expertise with strong operational leadership, personally contributing to the kitchen while guiding and developing a high-performing team.

You will play a critical role in driving guest satisfaction, maintaining operating budgets, delivering exceptional food experiences and fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and excellence. Your leadership will help ensure that every culinary touchpoint reflects the bold personality and elevated standards synonymous with W Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring a consistently exceptional culinary experience for guests
• Champion food quality, presentation, innovation and flavour while maintaining W Hotels brand standards
• Create and develop new menu concepts, dishes and culinary experiences that enhance the property's reputation and guest appeal
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, health and regulatory standards
• Drive financial performance through effective management of budgets, labour costs, inventory, purchasing and waste controls
• Inspire, coach and develop culinary talent, creating an environment built on trust, accountability and continuous learning
• Lead by example during service, maintaining operational excellence while supporting the team in achieving productivity and performance goals
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and key stakeholders to deliver memorable dining experiences that strengthen guest loyalty and commercial success
