FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This is service, maintenance, and repair work at intermediate worker level coordinating services provided by Jacksonville Sheriff's Office inmates. Requirements include making repairs for existing plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanicalsystems. Work requires knowledge of the techniques, methods, work routines, and procedures used in custodial work and minor facility repair work. This is accomplished using specialized skills which are acquired through training and job experience. Schedules, distributes, oversees, and guides the work of others.
