About the Positions: Located in Fort Supply at our Acute Care facility, this position is assigned responsibilities for providing administrative support for program areas and support functions to the administrative programs officer. This position will provide telephone and face to face contact with persons seeking services and complete the admissions process. These duties will include completing paperwork with clients and getting them into the computer system, maintaining various records, preparing correspondence or other materials, and similar activities. This position will also be answering the phones for the facility and will need to be able to transfer the phone to the appropriate people.
- Admit incoming clients/Discharging clients
- Data entry into Avatar/Knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook a plus
- Assist with metering mail/occasional mail run
- Develops and maintains confidential or complex files.
- Assist with filling out court documents when court liaison is absent
- Submit legal status documentation to county DA offices
- Obtain Member ID with OHCA/Assist with OHCA Gatekeeping documentation when needed.
- Enters and retrieves information using a Personal Computer or other data processing equipment and receives and reviews coded and uncoded source documents; reviews data and makes routine corrections.
- Interviews callers, arranges appointments, and handles office details.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
This position requires 3 years of experience performing a variety of complex clerical and typing office work; OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
