Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resolution to basic customer requests including, but not limited to sample requests, order documentation inquiries (open and invoiced), introductory product knowledge, website/e-tool navigation, understand account service structure and where to retrieve account information.
- Actively identifies and communicates opportunities for organizational growth, process improvement, and enhanced customer engagement, contributing to the long-term success of the company.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to our core values in all interactions, decisions, and contributions, fostering a positive and values-driven workplace culture.
- Maintain clear and professional communication via phone and email.
- Answer incoming customer phone calls in a professional manner while maintaining appropriate phone metrics and KPIs.
- Identify and correct issues within customer estimates or orders
- Develop a general understanding of hardware templates and applications, warranty claim process, and manufacturing limitations and specifications.
- Follows established internal escalation protocols to address procedural challenges, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
- Maintain a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations.
- Available to work occasional weekends and extended hours during the work week as needed, as well as being flexible to schedule changes.
- Potential for travel at a minimal capacity for training purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Inside Sales Supervisor to ensure positive customer experience.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily benchmarks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications (examples: Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong foundational math skills with an emphasis on working with decimals, fractions, discounting, and the ability to accurately read and interpret rulers and measurements.
- Metal experience preferred.
Education & Experience:
- 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or combination of relevant experience in door and/or frame construction experience, building supplies industry or manufacturing preferred.
