Tech Lead/Senior Golang Developer (Payments / Billing Systems)

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead/Senior Golang Developer to design and build reliable backend services for billing and payment processing systems.

This role requires strong expertise in Go backend architecture and hands-on experience integrating with payment providers and financial infrastructure.

You will work on systems responsible for payment processing, billing logic, provider integrations and transaction workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability and correctness of financial operations.

• Backend stack primarily Golang

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services in Golang

• Implement and maintain billing and payment processing logic

• Integrate with external payment providers and financial APIs

• Build reliable transaction processing pipelines, including retries, reconciliation and error handling

• Ensure reliability and correctness of financial operations

• Write maintainable and well-tested production code

• Monitor and debug payment and transaction flows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Golang backend development with deep understanding of Go architecture and concurrency

• Experience designing and building production-grade, high-availability backend services

• Strong experience working with billing or payment systems

• Hands-on experience integrating payment providers / payment gateways

• Experience working with:

  • REST APIs

  • asynchronous processing

  • event-driven systems

• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar)

• Understanding of transactional systems and data consistency

Important: commercial experience with payments or billing systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple payment providers

• Experience with subscription billing systems

• Experience working with high-load backend systems

• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

• Experience with observability tools (metrics, tracing, logging)
