Job Description
Title: Managed Access Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Service
Supervises: N/A
Classification: Full-time Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Managed Access Coordinator is wholly responsible for the successful management of SWC’s managed access customer portfolio. This may require regular meetings and status updates to customers and executive management, both internal to SWC and external to the stakeholders. The Managed Access Coordinator also oversees and provides direction and guidance, as required, to Internal Teams and Subcontractors, as they directly affect singular projects and the overarching impact to the managed access server platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Programming new and modification of existing access control credentials on the Managed Access Server.
• Monitor downstream board connectivity, troubleshoot and help diagnose outages, dispatch service resources as required.
• Generate various reports for customers as defined by their service plan, including card activity reports.
• Print new Photo ID’s for customers as requested.
• Program Hardware and Panels for new installations or reader additions for customers with managed access service plans.
• Generate card activity count reports for quarterly billing of active managed access accounts.
• Create and modify access schedules for systems as requested and needed for Holiday or special occasion exclusions.
• Create and modify access levels on the managed access servers.
• Create and modify badge designs.
• Process and execute mobile credential requests according to the customer’s service plan.
• Be available after hours for an emergency termination, building reader changes, schedule changes, and offline issue initial troubleshooting.
• Promotes and adheres to the company’s core values in all areas.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attends scheduled company meetings.
• Attends training classes held either onsite or offsite as required.
• Attends industry related conferences and events.
Requirements*:
• Preferred prior experience or certification with Lenel, Lenel OnGuard, Avigilon ACM.
• Preferred prior experience with Teamwork Desk and Smartsheet.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens as mandated by the Tennessee Drug Free Workplace program.
• Must be able to become a registered alarm employee under the requirements of the State of Tennessee.
• Must have clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build credibility, trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside of the organization.
• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in the program.
• The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to use a phone to communicate with customers and employees via phone, text message, and/or email.
Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
Work Conditions:
• Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
