Job Summary
The Events Coordinator will support CHOC’s Signature events and other events as needed. Responsibilities may include execution of event logistics, vendor management, website development and support, data base entry, volunteer recruitment and coordination, sponsorship activation, and campaign communication to a variety of stakeholders. Other duties include maintaining event collateral, guest lists and seating charts; in-kind solicitation, scheduling meetings; and stewarding donors.Pay Range
Minimum $24.25 Midpoint $32.12 Maximum $39.99Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Position Details
This is a full-time, non-benefitted temporary role that will be on assignment through December 2026.
Experience
• Required: Minimum three (3) years of event management experience.
• Preferred: Previous experience in the healthcare, non-profit or family targeted business.
Education
• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, hospitality, PR/Communications, or related area.
Training
• Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
• Required: Proven experience as an events planner or organizer. Must have great interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong writing skills. Excellent time management and communication skills. Must have the ability to build productive business relationships. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. MS Office proficiency. Display utmost professionalism when dealing with key influencers and consumers.
• Preferred: Self-directed, flexible, and adaptable.
Licensure
• Required: Driver’s License – Class C.
