What You’ll Do as a Day Program Professional
As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities, building skills, and promoting independence and community inclusion.
Daily Responsibilities
Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming
Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills
Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals
Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings
Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
GED or High School Diploma
Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
