In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving performance, leading frontline leadership teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused services. You will play a critical role in managing operational performance across customer support and back-office activities linked to life insurance, pensions, retirement solutions, and investment servicing.

The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership, operational discipline, stakeholder management, and experience working in a regulated environment. You will work closely with client partners and internal support teams to deliver service excellence, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you will do in this role

As an Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead daily operations to achieve service, quality, productivity, and compliance targets

• Manage Team Leaders and support teams to drive performance and engagement

• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and lead operational governance

• Ensure adherence to financial services regulations, internal controls, and client requirements

• Use data and insight to manage trends, resolve issues, and improve customer outcomes

• Lead change initiatives, process improvements, and operational readiness activities

• Support a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement

Your qualifications

Concentrix is a great match if you:

• Completion of Matric/Grade 12 (essential)

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager role or similar, within a shared services, or financial services operations environment

• Background supporting insurance, pensions, retirement, investments, wealth, or broader financial services clients is highly desirable.

• Experience managing leaders and large operational teams in a KPI-driven environment.

• Demonstrated client-facing experience.

• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Experience presenting operational results, risks, and action plans.

• Ability to balance customer, client, employee, and commercial priorities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
