Job Specific Working Conditions:
Young Life West Texas Region is prayerfully seeking an Associate Regional Director to join our fun-loving, collaborative, and “kid-first” leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, develop, and expand ministry across a growing region, with a focus on the west side of DFW and West Texas.
In this role, you will supervise longtime areas all the way to area startups, ensuring strong leadership, healthy ministry growth, and the development of new opportunities. Our active ministries include Young Life (high school), WyldLife (middle school), YoungLives (teen moms), Capernaum (kids with disabilities), and the seeds of Young Life College.
The ideal candidate is Biblically rooted, deeply committed to their faith, and passionate about reaching every kind of kid with the love of Jesus. They have a heart for leading and equipping staff, bringing out the best in those they supervise while fostering a culture of growth and excellence. This person is also driven to pioneer new ministries, ensuring that Young Life’s presence continues to expand in West Texas.

Associate Regional Director
Summary:Represent the regional office in carrying out the regional function to ensure good Young Life ministry in that region. As well as knowing and upholding all Young Life policies and procedures.
Ministry Functions:
Spiritual Development– “following Jesus.” Includes: Prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health and church relationships
Leadership Development – “Equipping leaders, committee and staff.” Includes: Key volunteer care, recruiting, teambuilding and training, supervision and vision casting.
Resource Development– “fueling the ministry.” Includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
Direct Ministry– “Proclaiming and discipling.” Includes contact work, club, campaigners and camp.
Ministry Support – “Taking care of business” Accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.
