Job Description

Role type: Full-time, Fixed Term  
Department: Advancement, Communications & Marketing 
Salary:  $100,847 - $109,163 p.a. plus 17% super

You will help coordinate alumni projects and events that strengthen relationships and support the University’s strategic goals. 
You will use data and research to support targeted, meaningful engagement, while improving and streamlining how programs run. 
You will join a collaborative Advancement team that values innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement. 

What you will deliver:  

  • Assist in planning and delivering alumni engagement programs and projects, combining face-to-face and digital elements as appropriate. 

  • Coordinate alumni events and community initiatives, ensuring effective promotion, logistics, volunteer support and evaluation. 

  • Use data analysis and One CRM to generate insights, refine targeting and inform alumni engagement strategies. 

  • Collaborate with faculty clusters, Advancement and Communications and Marketing to deliver aligned, high-quality programs. 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and contribute to ongoing innovation in Alumni Relations.

  • Deliver projects and programs on time and on budget, using sound project management practices 

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, liaising effectively with diverse internal and external contacts 

  • Lead end-to-end event delivery, including marketing, promotion, logistics and post-event evaluation 

  • Recruit, coordinate and support volunteers to maximise event and program outcomes 

  • Analyse and interpret data to inform alumni programs and activities, using spreadsheets and CRM tools 

  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with strong organisation and attention to detail in a busy environment

1. Skills in project management including a demonstrated capacity to deliver projects and programs within time and on budget. 

2. Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to effectively build networks and liaise with a wide range of internal and external contacts. 

3. Experience in event management including all elements of event including marketing, and promotion, logistics and evaluation. 

4. Ability to recruit and manage volunteers to maximise the success of event and program outcomes. 

5. Skills in manipulating and analysing data as it relates to the delivery of alumni programs and activities.
