As a Project Manager in the IT-IS Strategy and Planning team, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT initiatives. You will lead a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple IT-IS domains, collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that advance  Accelleron’s  business  objectives.

Your responsibilities:

Project Plan & Build 

  • Plans, schedules, coordinates, and delivers the project outcomes on time, within scope, cost and agreed quality. 

  • Defines, with key stakeholders, the scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, schedule, and detailed work allocation.

  • Coordinates and prioritises project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans, and communicates status to key stakeholders. 

  • Defines, jointly with key stakeholders, all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans. 

  • Effectively organises, monitors and controls activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilisation of available resources. 

 

Project Execution 

  • Monitors and controls project cost and financials. 

  • Identifies, contains, and reduces risk, and ensures that all opportunities are captured and acted upon. 

  • Uses knowledge and experience to assess what lies ahead at the initial stages of the project and decide on the best way to proceed. 

  • Monitors and controls the project management processes. 

  • Effectively monitors and controls project progress, proactively manages and mitigates project risks. 

  • Monitors and controls project financials, oversees project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.

  • Ensures that the project applies to contract and claims management in accordance with contractual agreements. 

  • Ensures the successful closure of the project-on-project completion and the capture and documentation of lessons learned. 

  • Executes project communication, reports project performance against plan and expected business outcome. 

  • Conducts Project assessments and gate passing assessments. 

 

Stakeholder Management and People Leadership

  • Serves as the key contact for the project stakeholders and an escalation point for project issues.

  • Effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders promptly and to achieve desired understanding and support.

  • Manages stakeholders' expectations and relationships. 

  • Prepares and drives project and budget approval with multiple stakeholders.

  • Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.  

 Governance & Compliance 

  •  Defines project governance and stakeholder matrix.

  • Ensures projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal directives and procedures.

  • Ensure appropriate Project Management policy and standards are followed.

  • Executes all assigned tasks as agreed in the RACI specification.  


Your background:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager. 

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar with specialized know-how in project management.

  • Solid knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile and the Waterfall approach.

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management training.

  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects in large organizations.

  • High ownership, autonomy, and ability to drive projects end-to-end without needing constant direction.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and able to navigate in large, global, matrix-based organizations.

  • Professional, structured way of working, and proactivity required.

  • Fluent in English.
