Skills and Competencies

Programming and Scripting:

• Proficiency in languages such as Node.js, React.js

Security:

• Knowledge of security best practices, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience with security tools like OWASP ZAP, Snyk etc..

DevOps Practices:

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like CircleCI
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Serverless etc.

Cloud Platforms:

• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS using ECS, EKS or Serverless
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.

Containerization and Orchestration:

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Monitoring and Logging:

• Proficiency in using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog etc.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Strong collaboration skills to work with development, operations, and security teams.
• Good communication skills for effective reporting and documentation.
