IT Telco Senior Specialist - Reliever (4 months contract)

Job ID 2026-23872 Main Purpose of the Job The IT Telco Specialist is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile device plans, data sims (for Banca Distributors), landline and internet services

This role ensures reliable, secure, and cost-effective telco operations by coordinating with vendors, troubleshooting issues in coordinate with the Telco Partners, and implementing new solutions to meet business needs

Key Accountabilities Telecommunications Support: Manage and support all telco services, including mobile device plans, internet, and data sims connectivity, ensuring high availability and performance

Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with telco providers (e.g., Globe, Smart/PLDT, Converge) for service provisioning, support requests, and issue resolution

Network Configuration & Optimization: Configure and optimize telco services and network devices to enhance performance, security, and cost-efficiency

Escalating Issues: Endorse and coordinate with Telco Partners to resolve telco-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and service disruption

Contract & Service Management: Monitor service agreements, SLA compliance, and vendor performance; facilitate contract renewals and negotiations

Cost Management: Track telco expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend optimized service plans

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of telco configurations, service details, and incident reports

Generate regular reports on performance and issues

Security & Compliance: Ensure telco services comply with security policies and organizational standards

Key Stakeholders IT Operations & Security Finance Procurement External Vendors and Service Providers (Telco Partners) AXA Employees (including Bancassurance Team) Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Finance and Accounting experience is a plus

Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

With experience in IT asset management, hardware, and software management

Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle processes, licensing, and compliance standards

Familiarity with IT Asset Management tools and inventory systems

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Willing for a Hybrid working set-up (3x a week onsite, 2x a week work from home); office location is in GT Tower Makati; for 4 months reliever stint
