As Sales Specialist, Connected Technology Solutions (CTS ) (Equipment and CADCAM), this role is responsible for;
- managing and growing the entire Connected Technology Solutions (CTS) range of products in a specific territory including the coordination and submission of Government tenders, ensuring customer needs and financial objectives are met
- collaborating with other DS team members from marketing, technical service, customer service, IT and finance to achieve business outcomes as outlined in sales & marketing plans
- ensuring strategic direction is being executed.
1. Primary Objectives
- Manage and grow sales and market penetration of Dentsply Sirona CTS products within a specified territory
- Undertake market and competitive analysis to ensure pricing strategies position brands in the marketplace to optimize revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with other team members locally and globally to achieve business outcomes as outlined in the sales & marketing plan
- Be an expert for the customer on DS CTS products
- Responsible for ensuring strategic direction is being executed in specified territory
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external customers at all levels including but not limited to:
o Dental practitioners and staff in practices and clinics
o Practice Management and Operations Teams
o Procurement
o KOL’s
- Together with CTS team members, coordinate the submission of Government Tenders in specified territory
- Coordinate and conduct sales meetings and product training for customers
- Effectively and professionally present to groups of dental care professionals, including dental student and postgraduate education departments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel including all relevant sales and market personnel
- Quote and negotiate prices, prepare contracts and record orders
- Develop tender proposals
- Project-manage the sourcing and delivery of products to the customer
- Provide after-sales support, such as applications and maintenance training
- Participate in product development, marketing and client education activities, as necessary
- Comply with all corporate governance requirements and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update the CRM (customer database)
- Collaborate on marketing programs by monitoring and providing accurate tracking, reporting and follow up to ensure a consistent and professional marketing campaigns
- Be able to articulate business as well as clinical benefits of the products
- Professionally manage and process customer complaints in accordance with company procedures
- Undertake ongoing strategic market analysis to ensure responsiveness to changes, market trends and competitor activities
- Execute, in own territory, programs to build awareness, including but not limited to lunch & learn educational events; practice open days and both live and online events
- Measure and monitor the success of training and support activities
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the dental industry
- Ensure ongoing currency of functional and technical knowledge via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training and personal research
- Ensure ongoing currency of systems and procedures via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training as required
Teamwork
- Work as a team, provide back up and support and share responsibility for completion of tasks as required
Health and Safety
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Proactively identify and report safety and health risks to ensure continuous improvement of occupational health and safety practices
- Wear all personal protective equipment as required
- Maintain awareness and understanding of internal safety procedures and adhere to these at all times
- Proactively report and manage safety issues and promote health, safety and wellbeing

Your Profile:
5. Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant degree in science or business related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Formal sales training
- Commercial experience in healthcare is essential / dental background preferred
- Experience selling technical capital equipment
- Consultative approach
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen, result driven with proven ability to build strong and commercially beneficial relationships with key customers
- Able to interpret complex business information and analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills through digital channels as well as personal meetings
