| LOCATION: | Groveland Elementary School Lenape Middle School |
| AVAILABLE: | *ESY Program runs for 5 weeks *06/29/2026 through 07/30/2026 (see hours below) *Training Days for faculty and support staff June 23-25, 2026 *Dates subject to change based on school calendar |
| COMPENSATION: | $27.50 p/hour |
| HOURS: | Elementary Low Incidence: Monday - Thursday - 8:45am - 2:45pm Secondary Low Incidence: Monday - Thursday - 7:45am -1:45pm |
| DESCRIPTION: | The Certified Nursing Assistant would assist with the duties of a Staff Nurse in both the elementary and secondary schools. Additional duties may include joining on class trips, or support responsibilities within their authorized scope of practice in the health office. Encompass positioning, feeding, toileting, changing, assisting with daily activities, and other nursing-related tasks as directed by the Certified School Nurse. |
| REQUIREMENTS: | High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a state-approved CNA Training program and passing competency exam to become certified (preferred, not required). The (Certified) Nursing Assistant may process Basic Life Support CPR/AED training or undergo CBSD's Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/First Aid Certification program. Must possess knowledge and have experience in seizure first aid and precautions, aspiration precautions and the operation of medical devices (i.e., Hoyer lift, wheelchairs). Training for this staff member will be provided by the Certified School Nurse and Staff Nurses with their assigned buildings. |
