Enterprise Integration Architect – SAP, Paas, SaaS & AI-enabled Systems

As our digital and AI-driven environment continues to evolve, we are looking for an Enterprise Integration Architect to support the design and integration of enterprise systems across this ecosystem. The role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, defining integration patterns, and ensuring reliable interaction between SAP, cloud platforms, AI-enabled services, and enterprise applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, BPM specialists, IT teams, and external vendors, you will help deliver practical and maintainable architecture solutions. The salary for this position ranges from PLN 28 000 to PLN 33 000 gross/month (UoP), depending on the candidate’s relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background, technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. How you will create an impact: Architecture Design Solution Engineering: Design and document technical architecture concepts for IT systems within a complex SaaS, PaaS, and SAP S/4HANA landscape, translating business requirements, BPM inputs, and operational needs into solution designs, architecture options, interface concepts, and implementation guidance. Enterprise Integration AI-Enabled Solutions: Define integration approaches for SAP S/4HANA, AI-enabled systems, cloud applications, APIs, workflow platforms, and other enterprise services, including assessment of data flows, automation logic, service orchestration, governance requirements, and operational monitoring. Business Process Technical Alignment: Collaborate closely with BPM specialists to ensure that technical architecture supports end-to-end process requirements, workflow lifecycles, and scalable production operations. Infrastructure, Security Operational Readiness: Work with IT infrastructure specialists, application owners, and security-related stakeholders to align architecture concepts with performance, scalability, resilience, compliance, and operational requirements. Project Delivery Technical Planning: Support agile and hybrid project delivery by contributing to epics, solution designs, technical dependencies, decision papers, backlog refinement and delivery planning. Architecture Documentation Decision Support: Create and maintain architecture documentation, including context diagrams, integration views, interface descriptions, decision logs, requirements mappings, and implementation guardrails, while preparing and presenting presentations, recommendation papers, and decision materials for stakeholders and senior management. Vendor Management Procurement Support: Support RFP processes and vendor selection activities by defining technical requirements, evaluation criteria, solution scope, and architecture-related questions, while ensuring technical alignment, documentation quality, delivery transparency, and adherence to contractual responsibilities. Risk Management Governance: Identify architecture risks, integration gaps, unclear ownership boundaries, and lifecycle weaknesses, coordinating resolutions with responsible teams and suppliers. Production Lifecycle Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of scalable production lifecycles, including change readiness, testing considerations, operational handover, monitoring requirements and the continuous improvement of architecture standards and patterns. Your profile: 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution architecture, integration architecture, enterprise application architecture, or a comparable technical role within an international organization. Experience in consulting, professional services, or similarly complex stakeholder environments is beneficial. Strong experience working in international SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments , with a holistic understanding of enterprise applications, integration architectures, APIs, workflows, events, and cloud services. Proven experience designing interfaces, integration patterns, data flows, and end-to-end solution architectures across complex enterprise landscapes. Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration in complex enterprise landscapes, including interaction with non-SAP systems, SaaS products, and cloud platforms. Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh, SAP Clean Core principles, SAP RISE , or comparable SAP cloud and integration capabilities. Good understanding of the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem and product landscape. Solid understanding of AI-enabled enterprise services , including automation opportunities, data dependencies, model and service integration, monitoring, and governance implications. Experience with AI/GenAI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, MCPs, SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, agentic frameworks, or enterprise automation platforms is highly beneficial. Experience working in agile and hybrid delivery environments , supporting implementation readiness, scalable production lifecycles, and cross-functional coordination. Strong understanding of Business Process Management and the ability to collaborate effectively with BPM specialists, process models, and workflow concepts. Experience working with external vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers , including support for RFP processes, vendor evaluations, technical requirements definition, and delivery coordination against contractual agreements. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills , with the ability to engage effectively with business users, technical specialists, vendors, project teams, and senior management. Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear and understandable way are essential. German language skills or experience working in DACH business environments are beneficial. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership , able to work independently in complex project environments while collaborating effectively across teams. Demonstrates adaptability, a willingness to learn new technologies, and a professional, respectful, and supportive approach towards colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners. Relevant certifications , such as TOGAF, cloud architecture, SAP architecture, SAP BTP, ITIL, agile delivery, BPMN/BPM, or vendor-specific architecture certifications, are considered an advantage.
