HSE Supervisor at COLAS

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

Supervise assessment of possible hazards & risk involved for maintenance activities during working day /night.
Evaluate existing work procedures to uncover areas where safety may be at risk and create the needed risk booklet for maintenance activities.
Reporting to QHSE manager about safety issues.
Ensure the usage of proper equipment’s during work .
Ensure certification and inspect of all equipment’s/tools (forklift , crane , scaffolding ,..etc) if needed.
Manage the lifting operation and identify the safe system of work.
Maintain records of all incidents / accidents.
Ensure availability of Emergency Response plan and its effectiveness.
Conduct daily / weekly safety Toolbox / meeting(s) as per monitoring plan.
Assist in the training and orientation of employees at all levels.
Communicate to Sub-contractors the company OH&S System and ensure its implementation.
Support corporate QHSE dept. For any task may requested

Education:

Bachelor degree or Educated to Degree level - expert subject with the railway field.

Experience:

Minimum 7 Years’ experience within a full time Health and Safety / Environmental role
Experience of working within a railway related environment and working on construction and/or maintenance projects
experience of local and international standards with then the field

Language Requirements:

Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
