Role Overview
The Marketing Specialist I will support the Marketing Specialist II and Senior Marketing Manager in executing and optimizing B2B marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, this entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build hands-on experience across digital/traditional marketing, content creation, and campaign execution within a global B2B manufacturing enterprise. The Specialist will help drive business impact through targeted marketing activities, support brand consistency, awareness and lead generation efforts, align efforts with global strategic marketing objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing go-to-market (GTM) plans, including basic market research, audience targeting, and campaign support for designated industry.
- Create and coordinate marketing content aligned to brand messaging and different stages of the buyer’s journey.
- Support development of marketing assets such as paid media placements, social media content, brochures, and sales materials.
- Assist with digital campaign execution across platforms (email, social, web)
- Help coordinate events, including trade shows, PR efforts, etc for designated industry.
- In collaboration with the digital team, track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, business divisions) as well as agency partners to support campaign inputs, execution and alignment
- Stay up to date on marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, coursework, or projects considered and encouraged to be submitted with application).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of traditional and digital marketing, social media strategy, and content creation.
- Familiarity with the buyer’s journey and general marketing principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast-paced environment. A lean-in and curious mind-set is encouraged.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights, etc.).
- Internship experience in marketing or related field.
- Mobile-first social media content creation.
- Experience developing and deploying B2B marketing campaigns
