
Obstetric Sonographer 3 - USFTGP Obstetrics & Gynecology
Job Description
The OB Sonographer 3 will perform high-risk OB/GYN imaging exams/procedures under the direction of Maternal Fetal Medicine and GYN Imaging physicians, following established protocols. Responsible for obtaining and correlating clinical history with indicated exam/procedure. Must be able to use the independent judgement necessary to obtain all required information, images & measurements. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fetal/gynecological anatomy & physiology, and technical sonographic principles. Must deliver patient care in accordance with USFTGP mission, vision, and values. Other duties as assigned.
Required:
Completion of a formal accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS registry in OB/GYN. Current BLS certification required.

Work Experience and Additional Information
Experience level: Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required. Must demonstrate current knowledge and level of expertise generally obtained through national certification required to perform high-risk OB/GYN sonograms.
Under supervision of the OB/GYN Sonographer Supervisor and in accordance with established protocols, performs the following OB/GYN sonograms and procedures:
