Position Overview – Investment Consultant, Geneva
As an Investment Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on a range of investment strategies. You will play a key role in shaping our investment offerings, while ensuring our clients' investment objectives are met. The role is based in Geneva.
What you’ll do
- Provide direct and indirect investment advice on all asset classes to clients based in Switzerland, Europe and Middle East
- Provide portfolio reviews and investment proposals, generate investment ideas and develop sales materials using Microsoft Office tools for Relationship Managers.
- Provide advisory and discretionary investment management services alongside relationship managers (pitches)
Prepare documents and presentations for client meetings (PowerPoint and Excel)
Proactively oversee advisory mandates
The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need
At least 5+ years proven experience in an investment consulting or related role, preferably within the wealth management industry
Higher finance education or specialized finance qualifications (CFA, AZEK, CAIA), an advantage
Knowledge about all asset classes and investment instruments, especially investment funds
High Level of interpersonal skills, ability to discuss and present complex investment matters clearly to clients and RMs
Strong IT skills, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Reuters, Datastream and AI tools.
Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic a big plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
