As a Guru you will be accountable for:
Month-End Closing (MEC)
Lead and manage TH month-end closing activities.
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial closing in accordance with MEC timelines and reporting requirements.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and BS schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
Accounts Receivable (AR) / Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Oversee TH AR O2C operations, ensuring smooth execution of daily BAU activities.
Supervise team performance and ensure adherence to defined timelines and SLAs.
Manage and resolve operational issues on a timely basis.
Review new products proposal / sales initiative / and discounts mechanism ensuring proper accounting standard is applied.
Collections Management
Drive collection efforts and monitor ageing to ensure healthy cash flow and minimize overdue balances.
Team Leadership
Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to Senior Accountants and AP B2P team.
Business Process Improvement & Transformation
Identify and support business process improvements across finance operations (AP, Reporting).
Streamline workflows, enhance internal controls, and improve process efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, automation initiatives, and transformation projects.
Audit and Tax Reporting Finalisation
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate audit activities and ensure timely completion.
Support preparation and finalization of statutory financial statements, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
Ensure audit schedules and supporting documentation are accurately prepared and submitted within deadlines.
Statutory Compliance
Review monthly tax filings and ensure proper reconciliation with the GL. (Withholding tax)
Ensure tax filings and tax payments are accurate, compliant, and completed within statutory deadlines.
Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure ongoing compliance with local statutory requirements.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has progressive experience in finance, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws, and any other compliance requirements.
