You will lead a dedicated team of drivers, technicians, and supervisors, ensuring our routes run like clockwork, our customers stay happy, and our team returns home safely every single day.

What You’ll Do (Your Daily Playground)
Lead the Green Team: Rally, mentor, and inspire your team of route supervisors and drivers. You’re not just a boss; you’re the coach building a winning culture.
Master the Grid: Optimize routes and fleet deployment. Think of it as a giant, real-life game of Tetris, where efficiency wins the game.
Champion Safety First: Safety isn't a poster on the wall here—it’s a lifestyle. You’ll champion DOT compliance, lead safety meetings, and ensure everyone goes home safe and sound.
Fuel the Bottom Line: Keep an eye on the numbers. You’ll manage the operational budget (P&L), looking for smart ways to reduce costs while keeping service levels sky-high.
Be the Hero of Customer Service: When complex logistical challenges pop up, you’ll step in to save the day, keeping our municipal and commercial clients thrilled with GFL’s service.
What You Bring to the Table
The Experience: 3–5 years of operational management experience, preferably in waste management, logistics, transportation, or a similarly fast-paced, rugged industry.
The Leadership Spark: You know how to earn respect on the shop floor and present clearly in the boardroom. You manage with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
Cool Under Pressure: When a truck breaks down or a storm hits, you don't sweat—you pivot. Your problem-solving skills are legendary.
Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable with fleet routing software, GPS tracking systems, and the standard Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus Points: A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a deep understanding of DOT regulations is a massive plus!
