- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically selling database, data infrastructure, or related enterprise software solutions
- Proven hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to identify and capture new business
- Consistent record of exceeding sales targets and quotas
- A strong understanding of database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data management challenges is highly preferred
- Experience selling to technical buyers (CIOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, Enterprise Architects)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with open-source software sales models
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or distributed database systems is highly preferred
- Prior experience at a database, cloud, or infrastructure company
- Experience working in a high-growth technology company
