Copeland has an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Representative reporting to the Business Development Manager-Cold Chain. In this position, you would be responsible for engaging customers, to drive awareness, and adoption of our portfolio of products and services, while delivering an excellent customer experience. Copeland is looking for the person that will fit perfectly with our very talented team of specialists, in an industry that has an incredibly bright future. The right individual will be working with the latest technologies and receive support from a dedicated, knowledgeable, and fun group of people that truly love what they do.

As an Inside Sales Representative you will:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and close new business
  • Manage leads, and open opportunities as assigned
  • Introduce existing cold chain customers to new Copeland
  • Manage existing relationships through regular contact, mitigating revenue loss, and building rapport
  • Work as a team with the team to refer business, prospect leads and projects, and deliver customer value
  • Onboard new customers, gathering the required documentation and working within the cross functional team to ensure proper setup
  • Assist customer concerns regarding pricing, product availability, warranty, cross referencing basic technical information, and customer policies
  • Follow up with customers on regular intervals to gain feedback and ensure satisfaction and loyalty

Who You Are: You readily take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency. You set objectives to align with your team’s goals and you anticipate and adjust effective contingency plans. You identify opportunities that benefit the customer, and you establish effective relationships with customers. You work cooperatively with other with others across the organization to achieve results. You ensure the accuracy of core project details. You follow through on commitments and make sure others do the same.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer service and/or sales position
  • Strength/comfort with Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Access
  • Team oriented
  • Demonstrated initiative. Willingness to learn, adapt and grow in the position
  • Must be legally authorized to work in in Canada and travel to the United States without employer sponsorship for business meetings and related activities.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bilingual (French and English) skill set preferred
  • Food Safety and Production/ Agri-Business or technology-related experience preferred
  • Salesforce (CRM) Experience Preferred

Pay Transparency: $55,000 - 60,000 CAD Annually + Bonus
