  • Full time, fixed-term position until April 2028. Located on the Camperdown Campus at the Brain and Mind Centre

  • Exciting opportunity to provide research and operational support across a growing national network of over 300 researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and people with lived and living experience

  • Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Clinical Trials Network Research and Operations Support Officer will work closely with the Co‑Directors and Growing Minds Australia Executive Team to provide research and operational support across a growing national network of over 300 researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and people with lived and living experience that forms Growing Minds Australia (GMA). This is a national Clinical Trials Network dedicated to improving child and youth mental health by facilitating high quality, collaborative and impactful research and care. Your work will directly contribute to advancing collaborative clinical trials, improving research capability, and ensuring better outcomes for children, young people and families.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work closely with the Co-Directors, executive team, Steering Committee, members, partner organisations and stakeholders to support network operations and coordination

  • provide administrative support across GMA network activities and infrastructure

  • manage stakeholder engagementand relationships across health, research and community sectors

  • assist in planning and delivery of network events, meetings and knowledge sharing activities

  • contribute to communications, advocacy initiatives and content delivery across websites, newsletters and promotional materials

  • support data collection, reporting, financial tracking and preparation of materials for governance and funding bodies.

  • demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across complex environments

  • experience working in a research‑intensive environment, including supporting research projects, infrastructure or initiatives

  • knowledge of or experience in clinical trials, research protocols, ethics submissions or grant processes

  • experience utilising social media platforms to support outreach, communication and awareness initiatives

  • experience managing data, reporting, and project financials including budgets and invoice tracking.

  • interest in child and youth mental health research.

Sponsorship / work rights for Australia

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
