
Director, Analytics
Job Description
The Director, Analytics is a senior level position responsible for shaping analytic strategy and delivering high-impact insights across complex customer engagements. This role reports directly to the VP of Analytics and operates as the highest-level analytic authority on our productionalized analytics engines and dashboards; driving methodological rigor, influencing business strategy, and ensuring analytics directly support contractual commitments and measurable performance outcomes.
This individual will lead a team of SQL analysts and BI developers to deliver scalable analytic solutions. Given the scale, visibility, and complexity of the work, this role requires deep healthcare domain expertise, advanced technical capability, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.
- Develop deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, reporting commitments, and performance objectives
- Establish credibility as a strategic analytic partner to senior leaders and to your direct reports
- Contribute to builds across backend and frontend deliverables
- Provide guidance on complex analytic workstreams and influence prioritization decisions
- Build trust from team of 4-8 analysts/dashboarders and understand how team fits into priorities
- Work to refine current OKRs and build team out necessary to execute on those OKRs
- Drive measurable improvements in analytic quality, scalability, and efficiency
- Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring advanced methodological expertise
- Serve as trusted advisor on medical economics, risk, episodes, and dashboarding
- Create rigorous performance management framework for team to be evaluated against
- Ensure AI integration into analytics workflows
- Be recognized as an enterprise subject matter expert across analytics, medical economics, risk, episodes and dashboarding
- Influence strategic decisions through data-backed recommendations
- Demonstrate measurable impact on customer performance outcomes and business growth
- Build durable analytic infrastructure and frameworks that scale across engagements
