Job Summary
This role serves as the primary technology business partner for North America commercial teams across Generics, Biosimilars, and Market Access and serves as a critical link between Global Technology and North America commercial business units, ensuring the effective delivery, implementation, and support of technology solutions. The position is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable IT solutions, operationalizing systems, and ensuring seamless execution across commercial functions.
The Associate Director will lead end-to-end solution delivery and IT operations, including deployment, system integration, and ongoing performance optimization. This role ensures that commercial, market access, and marketing teams are enabled through reliable, data-driven, and scalable technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Position Location:
This position is based at the Princeton, New Jersey, U.S. headquarters.
Sandoz offers a flexible hybrid model that allows U.S. office-based employees to work remotely for up to 50% of their monthly workdays. This role is expected to be primarily site-based, and preference will be given to local candidates who do not require relocation.
Major Accountabilities
- Serve as the lead technology partner for North America commercial teams across Generics, Biosimilars, and Market Access.
- Translate business priorities into technology strategies, roadmaps, and business cases that align regional needs with global direction.
- Enable commercial capabilities across market access, digital engagement, CRM, content management, analytics, and field force operations.
- Partner with Global Commercial Technology and the Digital Hub to evolve platforms such as CRM, content management, and omnichannel solutions for regional use.
- Support technology solutions that enhance pricing, contracting, customer operations, distribution, and service processes for the Generics and Biosimilars portfolio.
- Lead the regional Commercial Engagement roadmap, including technology transitions, adoption priorities, and value realization milestones.
- Assess market maturity, recommend fit-for-purpose operating models, and identify scalable solutions that support commercial growth and efficiency.
- Drive adoption, governance, and change management to ensure solutions are embedded effectively and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute to the delivery of Sandoz 2030 ambitions by strengthening commercial technology capabilities across the region.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implement global analytics standards and performance KPIs to strengthen omnichannel adoption, measurement, and decision-making.
- Partner with U.S. and Canada business teams to embed omnichannel capabilities into local commercial and customer engagement plans.
- Lead communications on system and process changes, clearly articulating benefits, impacts, and required capability development.
- Ensure adherence to Commercial Engagement governance, aligning country demand with regional priorities and global standards.
- Consolidate program-level initiatives into a cohesive regional roadmap in partnership with technology and business leaders.
- Identify, prioritize, and scale digital solutions that advance strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Assess capability gaps and partner with change, training, and business stakeholders to define and execute remediation plans.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Commercial Engagement solutions, advising commercial leaders on priorities, tradeoffs, and opportunities.
- Build effective partnerships with internal teams, global stakeholders, and selected external partners to strengthen digital engagement and execution.

- Delivery of the North America Commercial Engagement roadmap on time, within scope, and with defined value realization outcomes.
- Improved adoption and active use of CRM, omnichannel, content, and analytics capabilities across commercial teams.

- Reduced time-to-market for priority commercial capabilities and process improvements.
- Quantifiable business value from technology investments, including productivity gains, cost optimization, or revenue/margin impact.

What you’ll bring to the role:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between [From Job Profile: $119,700 – 171,000 – 222,300] USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
