Radiology Technician - Imaging, Per Diem, Variable Shift

Duties:

Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Positions patients to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician. Provides immobilization devices as required. Adjusts controls of equipment as needed to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician. Administers drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque. Provides radiation protection as needed per exam. Processes films by either automatic or hand processing. Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming responsibility for their safety
