Cyber Security Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Assess and identify potential risks that may hinder the financial prosperity of the organization.
Work to understand and quantify the organization's overall risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
Monitor and analyze market trends and data to help businesses avoid potential losses or discover growth opportunities.
Evaluate business activities (e.g., investments or business processes) to assess potential risks.
Use data analysis, statistical models, historical information, and financial knowledge to make informed risk exposure and management strategies decisions.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and reduce business risks, proposing strategies to mitigate financial risk.
Help develop internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and risk monitoring.
Keep abreast of industry shifts and standards, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure effective risk management and that the organization meets industry regulations and standards.
Key Skills/Qualifications
Career-development professional within field. Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline. Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Operational Risk and financial risk models and monitoring tools
Knowledge of Enterprise Risk models and tools as well as a good understanding of Enterprise Risk framework
Experience of working with a diverse range of data sources/streams and managing these effectively
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop relationships with business units, especially as it relates to operations and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Dark Matter or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
Ability to provide information to a wide variety of audiences regardless of topic and effectively deal with issues that are confidential and sensitive in nature
Ability to persuade and influence others on next steps
Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels required
Knowledge of infrastructure, key processes, and technology-oriented risk issues, specifically around security and privacy

Salary Range:
The estimated base salary range for this role is USD$58,500.00 - USD$71,500.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change.
