LATAM Desk Manager
Job Description
We are looking for our future LATAM Desk Manager to be a key member of the Sales team at Swissquote Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail Sales, you will lead and develop a team of sales professionals dedicated to the Latin American market, with the objective of driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with retail clients.
Operations Management:
- Defining and executing the commercial strategy for the LATAM retail segment in alignment with the bank’s overall objectives.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance (KPIs, conversion rates, client activity) to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Trading, and Customer Care teams to ensure a seamless client journey and alignment of commercial initiatives.
- Developing strong relationships with high-value retail clients and key partners across LATAM to better understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client acquisition pipeline across the region.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations for the targeted markets.

- Leading and supporting your team :

- Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
- Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner.
- Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
- Hiring:
- Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner.
- Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
- Performance Management:
- Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
- Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.
- 8+ years of experience in sales within financial services, ideally with exposure to retail clients and LATAM markets.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of trading products (FX, CFDs, equities, crypto) and retail client dynamics.
- Good knowledge of LATAM market specifics (client behavior, culture, regulatory awareness).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Languages: Spanish and English (fluent mandatory); Portuguese is a strong plus.
