Job Description

We are looking for our future LATAM Desk Manager to be a key member of the Sales team at Swissquote Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail Sales, you will lead and develop a team of sales professionals dedicated to the Latin American market, with the objective of driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with retail clients.

Operations Management:

  • Defining and executing the commercial strategy for the LATAM retail segment in alignment with the bank’s overall objectives.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance (KPIs, conversion rates, client activity) to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Trading, and Customer Care teams to ensure a seamless client journey and alignment of commercial initiatives.
  • Developing strong relationships with high-value retail clients and key partners across LATAM to better understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client acquisition pipeline across the region.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations for the targeted markets.

Team Management:

  • Leading and supporting your team :
    • Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
    • Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
    • Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner.
    • Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
  • Hiring:
    • Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner.
    • Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
  • Performance Management:
    • Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
    • Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.

 

  • 8+ years of experience in sales within financial services, ideally with exposure to retail clients and LATAM markets.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of trading products (FX, CFDs, equities, crypto) and retail client dynamics.
  • Good knowledge of LATAM market specifics (client behavior, culture, regulatory awareness).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Languages: Spanish and English (fluent mandatory); Portuguese is a strong plus.
