Transdev is Hiring a Bid Network Planner (VIE) – Manchester, United Kingdom Key Responsibilities : - Build and optimise bus schedules on HASTUS for offensive tenders in UK bus franchises, covering timetables, vehicle blocks, and driver duties. - Design and apply scheduling rules that comply with working time regulations, collective agreements, and company policies, while minimising Peak Vehicle Requirement without compromising reliability. - Analyse run times, punctuality, and operational performance data to challenge assumptions and identify concrete scheduling improvements. - Run scenario modelling to test service changes, quantify operational impacts, and feed key metrics and driver establishment figures into the financial workstream. - Contribute to the technical writing of tender submissions, documenting scheduling methodology in a clear and persuasive way for the client. - Work hand in hand with the finance, operations, and commercial teams to deliver a coherent, winning bid, and go on the ground to understand the network first hand.
