About the Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst in Oliver Wyman's Internal Consulting Hub (ICH), you will own and be a subject matter expert for operations that sit within the ICH. As such, the role will support the wider business in processes and tools in its areas of expertise. In addition, the role will own workstreams supporting projects driven by the ICH. The operations and expertise can include (but are not limited to) designing and delivering firm-wide or broad surveys, analytics requiring advanced tools such as Tableau, and automation requiring tool expertise such as Microsoft Power Automate. As tools evolve, the role is expected to maintain knowledge of developments to grow the capability of the function and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute operations in the role’s area of expertise and literacy with supporting tools (e.g., survey execution, report building and analytics, and automation)
Provide analysis and deep insight supporting senior leadership decision-making, management of the business and operations, and continuous improvement
Own end-to-end delivery of workstreams for projects led by the ICH which have strategic importance for Oliver Wyman or involve complex system and process implementation
Serve as a subject matter expert to the firm in areas of expertise (e.g., survey execution, reporting building and analytics, and automation)
Collaborate with a diverse set of teams across Oliver Wyman functions, Marsh businesses, practices, and regions
Drive process standardization, documentation, improvement, and ensure operational compliance
Support ICH standard operational processes to cover for other team members and provide continuous service to the business
Experience Required:
An undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role [for Senior Business Analyst II, at least 5 years’ experience]
A recognised Business Analyst certification and/or training (e.g., BCS Business Analysis diploma, or ISEB, qualified), a plus
Advanced digital fluency to learn and use a range of digital tools
Advanced analytical capabilities, including proficiency in data gathering, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and reporting
Expertise with tools and software used to enable and support operational processes (e.g., Qualtrics, Power Automate, GenAI, etc.)
Expertise with relevant tools and software used for data analysis, statistical programming, and reporting within the firm (e.g., Excel and VBA, Python, Tableau Suite, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong knowledge of business processes and project management fundamentals
Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently balanced with proactivity to learn
Creative problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking
Ability to manage work to deadlines and service-level agreements
Service mindset and effective communication skills to collaborate and deliver to multiple functions, geographies, and businesses
