Job Description
The Role:
The OEX Master is responsible for executing projects that drive improvements in OEE and GCC, while fostering a culture of operational excellence by enabling and coaching plant personnel in the use of relevant tools and methodologies.
What you’ll do:
· Identify OEE/GCC improvement opportunities using data analytics, benchmarking against local, regional, and global best performance
· Build and integrate a project roadmap focused on OEE and GCC improvements using Lean methodology
· Identify Kaizen opportunities based on performance gaps and Gemba Walk observations
· Develop new initiatives to achieve annual business objectives
· Execute projects aligned with the roadmap using the appropriate methodologies
· Lead workshops for key improvement opportunities, involving cross-functional teams
· Partner with OEX teams and other functions to solve problems using Lean principles
· Plan, lead, and promote focused Gemba Walks, gathering insights and driving action plans
· Ensure project execution and progress according to plan
· Share best practices across departments and with other plants
· Conduct audits to ensure compliance with OEX principles under the CMS 2.0 model
· Advise supervisors and operators on key decisions to anticipate monthly and yearly results
· Guide and coach leaders on the Daily Management System (DMS)
· Provide guidance on proper use of tools, systems, and CMS 2.0 (OEX model)
· Promote understanding of tools and systems to drive results
· Deliver training aligned with project needs
· Empower operational teams to use tools and systems effectively
· Support and promote the OEX recognition system
