About the role

The Controller at OPmobility supports financial management in a dynamic automotive business environment. This role combines financial analysis, cost control, budgeting and close cooperation with operational teams.

The person in this role helps the business understand what stands behind the numbers: where the company is on track, where variances appear and what actions can improve financial performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analyses for management.
  • Monitor financial performance and analyse variances between planned and actual results.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Support annual planning, mid-term planning and cash flow processes.
  • Cooperate with finance, production, purchasing, HR, quality and operations teams.
  • Provide data and recommendations to support cost control and business decisions.
  • Support audits, controls and activities related to financial process compliance.

 

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in finance, economics, controlling or accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost analysis.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
  • Very good Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Advanced English language skills. German is an advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive or an international environment will be an advantage.
