Accounting & Reporting Staff (1 Year Contract)
Job Description
This position, reporting to the Head of Statutory Reporting is accountable to ensure all investment transactions are booked properly in accordance to accounting standards and in a timely manner. This position is also accountable to ensure all investment accounts are reconciled on monthly basis, by reviewing and analyzing regularly and including solving all investment accounting booking issues. This position is also accountable to support statutory reporting:
1. Ensure all investment month-end/quarterly closing (prepare journal entries & liaise with other parties) run smoothly
2. Prepared Weekly Transaction related Investment transactions
3. Providing and reporting BS Monthly Reconciliation and Bank Custody Reconciliation
4. Ensure by preparing all investment reports timely and accurately
5. Liaise and Monitor other team for Investment Closing Month End and Quarterly Process
6. Support for monthly statutory reporting
7. Providing and support data / report related Investment transaction to external auditor
Requirements:
University Business Degree and/or recognized accounting designation; Accounting preferred
Min 1-2 years’ experience in accounting, investment accounting preferred
Technical accounting, and financial analysis
Basic Excel skills and experience with database applications, experienced of IFS Applications (Lawson, Essbase, DART, JETS) preferred
Good in English –oral & written communication skills
Fast learning and adapting
Practical problem solving skills and the ability to influence chang
Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with team and other teams
