Senior Accounting Manager, Transportation Business
Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager, Transportation Business based in United States.
This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling transportation and logistics organization, owning the financial integrity of parcel and freight operations. It is a high-impact, player-coach position that bridges accounting, operations, and technology to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost tracking, and billing across complex transportation flows. The role is deeply embedded in both the monthly close process and the design of systems that generate financial data, making it essential to both financial accuracy and operational scalability. It requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure accounting requirements are fully embedded into tools and workflows. Beyond technical accounting ownership, the role also involves building scalable processes, improving data reliability, and enhancing visibility into transportation P&L performance. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in detail-oriented execution while driving cross-functional alignment and process improvement.
