Job Summary: The Marine Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of marine vessels by assisting in the performance of firefighting inspections according to US Coast Guard (USCG) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing firefighting inspections per USCG and ABS Codes.
- Learn and Understand the “Scope of Work” for all inspections.
- Utilize smart device applications to manage / schedule inspection documentation.
- Complete all required paperwork and upload to database.
- Document required deficiencies and items required for repair.
- Manage customer expectations to maintain excellent customer relations.
