Inventory Control Associate (56939)

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:  

This position assists in the accurate verification of product and inventory levels within the facility.  Duties include the counting of product and reporting of inventory within the warehouse. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Follow safety guidelines of the Inventory Control department and general warehouse standards 

• Operate mobile equipment per safety guidelines and requirements 

• Use of electronic devices such as handheld scanners, tablets, and computers 

• Accurate counting of product in forms of individual, carton, or pallet quantities 

• Proper recording and documenting of product quantities 

• Reporting of any discrepancies (shortage/overage) to the Team Leader or ADM 

• Investigate causes for any discrepancies 

• Recommend possible countermeasures for root cause of discrepancies 

• Experience on Cherry Picker 

• Other duties as assigned 

Background Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred 

• Strong math skills 

• Prior warehouse experience preferred 

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs 

• Certification or ability to be certified in mobile equipment (fork-truck, stand up fork-truck, etc) 

• Computer skills: MS Excel and Word 

• Attention to detail of alpha and numerical data 

• Time management and ability to work independently
