Job Description

Who we are

In the past, to be a successful restaurateur, you simply had to have a passion for food and a passion for people - but to succeed as a digital restaurateur you also need to have a passion for technology. We believe in the joy of serving others, and that's why we created Otter – to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery. Restaurants around the world, both large and small, including Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry’s, KFC, and Eataly trust our software to power their delivery business. We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.

About the role

As a key member of our PMO team, you will drive complex projects from initiation to successful delivery with minimal oversight, requiring only periodic guidance from a manager. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of execution and strategy—independently scoping projects, designing custom methodologies, and building the infrastructure needed to scale.

You will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders and senior leaders, applying both technical and business knowledge to shape product direction, simplify processes, and ensure our initiatives perfectly align with organizational goals. If you are a proactive leader who thrives on translating ambiguous business problems into actionable strategies, this is the place for you.

What you’ll do

  • Independently design, scope, and run projects from initiation to delivery with limited revisions required, managing schedule, resources, and scope along the way.
  • Establish and simplify processes (such as feature roadmap prioritization, product lifecycles, and audit mechanisms). Build custom methodologies, project infrastructure, testing approaches, and controls.
  • Shape the vision, goals, and roadmaps of our products and projects. Translate complex or ambiguous business problems into actionable requirements and deliverables, and support team goal-setting.
  • Serve as a clear, active leader in project review meetings and discussions. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with senior leaders, and support business reviews (e.g., MBR/QBR, narratives, metrics)
  • Drive operator adoption and ensure partners successfully sign up and integrate into the platform
  • Support Enterprise clients with operational coordination and marketing strategy execution
  • Act as a main point of contact for escalations, onboarding support, and distributor relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, OSS, Foodbuy, distributors, and Operations teams
  • Build scalable operational processes, trackers, and workflows from the ground up

What we’re looking for

  • Background in Business Operations, Operations Strategy, Program Management, or similar operational environments
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
  • Hands-on operator with strong ownership and execution skills
  • Experience with A/B testing, process improvement, stakeholder management, and operational scaling is a plus
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments without large support structure

Why join us

  • Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast! In the last 5 years, just in the US, the overall market has expanded 10X from $10B to $100B, and could expand to $500bn- $1T by 2030.
  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.
