Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM (Monday-Friday); (When there is OT) 6:00am-4:30pm.
Location: Tulsa, OK
GENERAL SCOPE OF JOB
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for supporting all Quality production processes including pre- and post- production related standard operating procedures. The Quality Control Technician motivates, supports, coaches, and supports the efforts of the Production Team toward achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals & objectives. This position is responsible for ensuring all Safety policy and procedures are consistently being followed, all products pass Quality Control testing, and Lean Tools and Concepts are continuously deployed and sustained within their areas of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verification of product quality and adherence to engineering specifications / work instructions
Collect and report all Quality metrics Using Microsoft forms
Communicate all defects found during the QC inspection process to operations team members
Layered auditing sign off on critical to quality projects
Appropriate use of QC stamps and quality approval
Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings
Root cause investigation
Incoming product inspection
End of Line product inspection
Assist operations in team training
Sustain 5S+Safety standards, and consistently eliminate waste within department
Continually work at maintaining and improving a positive work culture.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma
Previous Quality experience preferred.
Lean Manufacturing on the job experience

Must be a swift learner, possess the abilities to train others, have excellent problem- solving skills to effectively resolve problems, barriers, and constraints for their team.
The Quality Control Technician will be expected to understand the importance of time management and be proactive at all times.
Solid PC skills and the ability to navigate within the Pregis’ systems.
Working knowledge of relevant software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook experience preferred.
Customer Service oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to operate under pressure of deadlines, calm, patient, able to work independently.
Available, Hands on, Accountable, Fair and Consistent
Knowledge of team and use of email communications
Work with the Quality Control lead regarding specific information relating to product information and production
Report bottlenecks to the Quality Control Lead
Conducting quality tests on products or materials to ensure standards are met
Ability to or learn to use programming software such as Microchip Studio, Smart System, Pro12Z programmer, IM-pack, SPM Super-Pro for Windows.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee’s time will generally be split between working in both a non-climate and climate controlled environment. Personal Protective Equipment is required in areas designated by Pregis.
