
Withdrawal & Care Coordination RN | Addiction Medicine Clinic
Job Description
Come join the Addiction Medicine Clinic team and make a difference for our patients as a Withdrawal & Care Coordination RN! You will be responsible for the coordination of patient care based on substance of use and will function autonomously and in collaboration with multiple health care providers as a patient advocate, educator, and consultant.
The position will focus on achieving quality clinical outcomes by effectively coordinating care for patients throughout the disease continuum and across multiple settings by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently. Duties are performed in a manner which promotes a multidisciplinary team concept. The patient care process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) is used for patients across the addiction continuum.
Schedule
- Casual
- Various days Monday - Friday | 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Anticipate being scheduled one to two shifts per month
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $39.87 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.25 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $42.62 per hour
- Pay range: $39.87 - $66.52 per hour

Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program required; Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred
- Bachelors or Masters in Nursing required within 3 years of hire
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
- American Nurses Association (ANA) Psychiatric – Mental Health Certification preferred
- Certified Addiction Registered Nurse (CARN) – Addiction Certification preferred
- Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures, patient rights and ethics
- Knowledge of at least the following areas: abuse issues, chemical dependency, adult/adolescent clinical assessments
- Requires in-depth knowledge of substance use disorders including management of substance use withdrawal
