Job Title: Personal Housekeeper
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Position Type: Part time, 6-8 hours per week
Compensation: $15 an hour, negotiable based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Personal Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning household. This position involves general cleaning, laundry, and household organization duties, as well as occasional errands and special tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and assisting with meal prep.
Launder clothing, linens, and other household fabrics, including ironing and folding.
Organize household items, closets, and storage spaces.
Manage household inventory, restocking supplies as needed (e.g., cleaning products, toiletries, groceries).
Run errands (e.g., grocery shopping, dry cleaning pick-up, etc.).
Care for plants and pets (if applicable).
Assist with meal preparation, and clean up afterward.
Maintain and follow any specific cleaning and organization preferences or schedules.
Occasionally assist with special projects such as deep cleaning or event preparations.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be comfortable around dogs
Ability to work flexible hours
